Gilbert Beilschmidt (Prussia) from Axis Powers Hetalia! Gilbert's the hot new designer in town. When he's not coming up with trendy threads for classy clients (or his awesome mentor, Wang Yao), he's hanging out with Francis Bonnefoy (Makeup Master and Pâtissier) and Antonio Fernandez Carriedo (Charming Chef) at one of their places or at the bar that Mathias Køhler (Star Striker) works at part-time. He also secretly tries his best to be the 'best big brother' to Ludwig Beilschmidt (Prodigious Policeman) by sending him fashionable clothes every now and then that the latter never seems to wear. All of the magazine covers are connected...SORT OF
you can tell i don't know much about fashion LOL-- I randomly realised today that I hadn't done any magazine cover parodies this month yet, so here we are! How did I go on for so long without doing a magazine cover for one of my favourites, man And this probably isn't very noticeable since my usual style bleeds into everything I do lmao, but I drew and coloured this in my primary style 2.0 that I was previously experimenting with in October/November! It's grayer and much more time-consuming, though, so it's not really as fun, but it's kind of good for trying out a few small things here and there. sobs what is anatomy one day i will do u justice gil
I rather like the idea of Gilbert being a Designer or a Private Eye in human AUs! btw this is a p. good Detective!Prussia fic that made me like PI Gilbert in the first place!
Oh, and I'm not sure if there was a word missing in "Wang Yoa's tips on incorporating high fashion into your everyday..."? Just wanted to double check, just in case (n_n)
Gilbert looks stylin', and I really liked how you said 'plucky and practical' x)
Haha, sweet! And yeah haha that's the sentence! I was also kind of unsure as to whether or not I should add something, but it seemed to sorta work, so I just left it lolsob 'style' could have probably been put in there somewhere though--
And thanks! Even though he gives off an ostentatious impression, Gilbert seems like the practical type!
It certainly sounds fun! My vocab is so limited that I have a dictionary and thesaurus app to look up big and colorful words xD I get all curious and excited when a word sounds very interesting lol
Prussia for life!

Yeah, I can see that too! The word 'plucky' is what really got me, because it's fun to say lol
awwyeah
coming up with random alliterative phrases and articulate words is one of the most fun parts when doing these magazine covers!
